El Cholo

if you are in LA, and want some old-fashioned and PERFECT mexican food (not a taqueria, more of a sit-down meal), go to the el cholo by usc. DO NOT go to any other el cholo's- you would think that the recipes could be re-created easily in any part of los angeles, but i have learned the hard way this is not the case. but the original el cholo is so good that it actually got my grandfather off his death bed to eat it. literally.
